Playstation 3 :: A Great Reason To Give To Your Wife When Purchasing a PS3
Well we have all been there… well most of us with significant others… A new console, device, next gen gadget comes out, and you HAVE to have it. But you have to run it by the boss. You sweet talk her, tell her how amazing she is, the list goes on. Then later on that week you pop the question “Can I buy a playstation 3?? Pleeeeease?”. Usually with guns-a-blazin’ you get shot right down with a “ARE YOU NUTS?!”.
Well it looks like I may have compiled a list of excuses you can use to opt yourself into being able to purchase a Playstation 3 of your own.
1) The Sims 3 for PS3
Electronic Arts is currently has The Sims 3 in development for the PS3, so if your signiciant other plays any sort of video games, this may be your entry point. You can say something to the fact of “But hun, the only way to play the Sims 3 is on the PS3!!” Yeah might not be a big selling point, but there are more….
2) Blu-Ray Format on Playstation 3
Yeah I know its kinda of a killer statement to justify this, but you can watch cutting edge higher-then-dvd quality movies on your PS3. Just think, that HDTV you have would be sick with an awesome blue-ray player. So now you and her can cuddle up to watching some good ol’ Titanic. *puke*
3) Sell the Old System To Get The New Playstation
Since the new PlayStation 3 plays Playstation 2 Games, and PlayStation 1 games you can now technially sell your old PS2 and Ps1 systems. Now obviously the PS1 wont sell for much, but thats not the point! Simply tell her that you will recoupe some of the loss from selling the older stuff. Plus once you get the PS3, all the PS2 will do is collect dust.
4) The Playstation 3 TV web-browser
Not a huge selling point, but how cool is it to surf the web and check your email from your couch? Definatly kick ass.
If anyone else has some points that may help others out, feel free to add a comment and I will consider submissions and add them! I know this may or may not get you a PS3 but I hope this list will help you all out!
